Coinciding with the start of the Clerkenwell Design Week 2019, Chrom-Art is proud to launch the third edition of FT2 in collaboration with Actiu, leader in innovative design of
state-of-the-art work environments and public spaces, with presence in 100 countries.
The space and its equipment have a decisive influence on the motivation, performance and health of people, being the second most important factor which determines job satisfaction, after wages.
The quality of the work environment goes beyond responding effectively to the physical needs in all types of people, to provide spacious, bright and well equipped spaces that favor communication,
learning and collaboration as well as opportunity to focus on individual work when required.
A well-designed space can foster these connections and creative encounters.‘Cool working’ by Actiu is an internal reflection which enables the design of work environments with the aim of
improving the wellbeing of the people that inhabit them. It also focuses on boosting the efficiency and productivity of organisations.
The mind plays a vital role in an individual’s overall health and well-being. An atmosphere that supports a healthy mental state can have significant psychological and physical benefits. The
right interventions can trigger good behavioural changes and positively impact mood, stress levels and psychosocial status.
Art has a power to alter spaces, to inspire, to positively influence thoughts and to balance feelings and emotions.
In this curatorial project artists are encouraged to propose multidisciplinary, innovative art works, embracing the harmonious site specificity of the newly interpreted office space that breaks
the rules of hierarchy for the sake of Netarchy, responding to the new paradigms of TO BE in opposition to 'to Have', enhancing interconnectedness, LONG TERM JOURNEY and Intuition. The artwork is
also meant to respond to the ethical and environmental sustainability through materials and forms.
